The Mayor serves as the
President of Council and presides over all
Council meetings. He
is a part of the Village Administration and as
such has no vote on Council matters except in
the case of a tie vote.
The Mayor oversees
the following Offices and Departments:
Office of the Village Administrator, Office of
the Finance Director, Fire Department, and the
Police Department.
One of the duties of the Mayor
is to appoint village residents to serve on the
various boards and commissions created by state
statute or village ordinance.
