Electric & Natural Gas

In November of 2016, voters in the Village of Ansonia passed ballot measures for the Village to pool together eligible customers and shop for bulk electric and natural gas supply rates on behalf of eligible residents and small businesses through an opt-out aggregation program.  The Village just signed a new contract with Dynegy, which will start January 2026, and they will serve as the Village’s electric aggregation program supplier at a fixed rate of $0.908/kWh that is secured through May 2028, meter read date. On the natural gas side, AEP Energy, will serve as the Village’s natural gas aggregation program supplier at a fixed rate of $0.6349/Ccf that is secured through the November 2027, meter read date.
