The Village Administrator is appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Village Council. The Administrator serves at the pleasure of the Mayor and Council. He is responsible for all Village functions except the Office of the Finance Director, the Fire Department and the Police Department.

In late winter or early spring of 2022, the Village of Ansonia will be undertaking an approx. 1.6 million Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Phase I project. The Village has received a $900,000 Grant from the Ohio EPA and a $750,000 CDBG Residential Public Infrastructure Grant. This project will include replacing approx. 3,300 Linear Feet of old Sanitary Sewer line, approx. 21,250 Linear Feet of Sanitary Sewer Line relining, as well as replacing approx. 12 old sanitary manholes. Also included in this project will be an upgrade to the Main Sanitary lift station with the installation of a Diesel Pump to be used as a backup pump when the electricity goes out or if there is a problem with one of the two main pumps.
